My beautiful baby boy has 6 teeth that have broken through, & 2 more right on the verge of breaking through. He can pull himself up to stand (holding on to mine or his dad’s hands), & when he’s on his stomach on the floor, he spins in circles. He sits up great on his own. He’s just started sleeping on his side or stomach throughout the entire night. But, when it comes to eating solids, it seems like we’re getting nowhere fast. I feel like that may have a little to do with the fact that I’m terrified he might choke, so I have been hesitant to give him solids. He has mastered the pincer grab, & he cries because he wants my pizza, lol, so I think he’s ready, but the few times I’ve tried with baby specific food, he gags or seems very uninterested. He’s also making no progress when it comes to crawling. I know some babies skip over it, but as a FTM, I’m concerned of course. He is kinda chunky, so maybe that’s it? He’s 25 pounds. I have a friend with a ten month old, & he’s walking, running, & talking, & he’s 36 pounds, so maybe weight doesn’t have anything to do with it? Lol.
