Hey everyone,

I am 18 and My boyfriend and I are sexually active. I have been on the Depo shot since the end of January and I am due for my next at the beginning of July. I made an appt with my doctor to switch from Depo to bc pills because I absolutely hate the side effects of Depo. My legs are always hurting, I have stomach cramps, and I constantly have a brown discharge. Recently I have been stressed out because I am entering college this coming fall. The latest time my boyfriend and I have had sex, the condom broke, as soon as we found out, we continued to go on, believing to be safe because of the Depo. He pulled out, so we believe we are safe. I told my mom about everything but my dad has no idea. My mom had me take a pregnancy rest today, and it came out as negative. But I believe that it is way to early to know, considering that it has only been 5 days since I had had sex. Much of today I have been having more brown discharge than usual and it seems to be a red/pinkish color moving towards the evening. If I am, per chance, pregnant, I do have people who will support me. I plan on still continuing college if I were to be pregnant. I would like to know your guys opinions. I’ve had the Depo shot exactly 11 months from each other each time. Thank you ahead of time for all of the support❤️
