Never had a UTI Advice please

so on the 10 I had pain on right side where my kidneys are; well I had to urge to pee ever couple minuets since yesterday. It doesn't hurt to pee and I have some minor pain on my right side still. Every time I pee and I am done I feel like my bladder isn't empty and still have to go, I do hold my pee sometimes to the point it hurts but thats for other reasons.... Does this sound like a UTI??? I have never had one and I am kind of freaking out about it, if it is what do I do?????
