Need help: look like a zombie

So for most of my adult life I’ve had horrible dark circles under my eyes. I was told there’s nothing I can do (by a doctor) but cover it with concealer. The other some of my concealer rubbed and an employee noticed it and asked me if something had happened to my eye because it looked bruised. I know there has to be some solution and natural treatment to help or even better makeup. Suggestions?????
