How much and how often is your 6 month old eating?

How much milk are you giving them in a sitting? And how many hours apart? My baby has been going 4 hours and only drinking 5oz barely and I feel like it’s not enough.

Are they in track weight and height etc?? 
If so then don’t worry. My little girl has just turned 7month and she has never drunk more than 6oz in a sitting. I started weaning at 6month, she was having 5 bottles of 4-6oz a day. She now has three meals a day and 4 bottles of 4-6oz (I make 6oz and sometimes she drinks it other times she leaves 1 or 2oz). 
She has always been on the 50th centile for her weight. And is meeting all the milestones. She has also been sleeping through since she was 3months old. 
Every baby is different. If you baby is happy and healthy then that is all that matters. You can’t force them to eat/drink and they will let you know if they are hungry.

Baby is almost 6 months old and eats two meals with solid food and a bottle and then the rest of the day only bottles. He is either at perfect weight or a little below (haven’t had him weighed since his 4 month appt). He drinks 6 ozs every 3-3 1/2 hrs. He can go a little longer if we are keeping him entertained outside or in the pool.

Always milk first. Then food. One meal of solids a day is all a 6 month old needs. It works up from there in a natural progression.

My almost 6 month old takes 4.5 ounces every 3 hours and I give her about 2oz of baby food before bedtime to help her belly stay full. She will be 6 months old on the 28th.

They say it’s best to do milk first and food after otherwise they might not want the milk after and at that age their milk is still their main source of nutrition. We followed that for the most part. But I never really gave my son his bottle right after. He basically just ate every 1.5 hours. He’d do milk then an hour and half later baby food. And an hour and half to two hours later a bottle again and then back to baby food. It’s just what worked for us. He was eating three meals a day by 5 months old.

With both my kids I started with just 1-2 teaspoons of food and a couple sips of prune juice (recommended to me by their doctor to keep them from getting constipated). I chose once a day and gave them this, then however much formula they wanted.
