Does anyone have any knowledge on provera? Had a missed miscarriage in April... d&c; April 18 my period returned may 13... now it’s 32 days and I still haven’t gotten my second cycle. I’m 39 and started seeing a fertility specialist after this miscarriage Bc this was my second MC ... first one was in December and my periods were fine after this... my periods were always 25 days and this is the first time this has ever happened to me where they are not coming .., RE said my body is probably resetting Bc of the two miscarriages back to back in four months. I asked to be induced and they said they would. Also took two preg tests and both were negative. They want to put me on provera and said I can wait til the weekend after taking another preg test to make sure I’m not OR I can not take the medicine at all and just wait for my cycle to return... anyone have experience with provera and if so was it a positive one??? I am trying to start my testing with the rE and the testing is cycle specific and all that’s happening is I’m getting older. They didn’t want to do it w the first cycle Bc were waiting for me to reset well now this one hasn’t come and I’m very frustrating! I got preg both times fast and my cycles have always been regular along with ovulation. I don’t want to take meds to induce unless I absolutely have to. The nurse also said I could take the medicine and doesn’t mean my cycle will return right away that if it doesnt I might need an injection. Help! ☹️😓
