I’m thinking about switching birth control.... how do I tell my mom
Now, I know I don’t have to, I’m almost 21 but it’s just easier especially being on her insurance and I can tell her if I have any problems. It’s just easier
I just don’t know how to bring it up. She isn’t exactly... strict or old-fashioned but we don’t talk about this stuff really. She just put me on the pill when I was 14, no discussion at all.
I’m going to be a junior in college and my schedule is kind of different each day so having a set time to take the pill would either result me in having to take it during lab/research or having to wake up early on the weekends. I’m already forgetful (twice I’ve forgotten about big final assignments without 2 weeks of each other) so I want something more long term but I’m not sure what to tell her
