Kind and gentle boy names?

So we’re really struggling with naming our son. We’d like a virtue name, but one that reminds him to be loving, gentle, fair, empathetic, to stand up for and with those who have less than he does, etc. We’d also like one that’s European/Anglo (only because we don’t want to seem like we’re appropriating names from colonized cultures.) Our daughter’s name is Aria Rose, and we often use it to remind her to let her voice rise up (like an aria in an opera) when she sees injustice. It seems like the vast majority of boy names only allude to strength, or combat, or religion, or blah stuff like landscape details. There’s plenty of boy names that mean “loved” or “beloved” but none that mean “loving.” Quirky is fine but not unusual enough to be odd.

Right now we’re considering “Rowan” (“a tree of protection”... would love something more meaningful.

Can I get some suggestions?
