First time posting...need help

I’m 34 and have been TTC for 6 months. I got the flashing smiley today on the Clearblue Advanced Digital test this morning and was excited, but just got out of the shower after having some sharp pains in my stomach and as I was drying off, realized I was bleeding (not period blood because my cycle started on the 2nd and ended on the 6th). I don’t know what to think of this and if I should continue trying the next few days like I would after a smiley face or.......to be honest, I guess I’m mainly wondering what just happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I never post on here and am only doing so because I’m quite concerned.
