Inches lower belly size ?!

Doctor says I'm 2 inches lower but baby growing fine ? What does that mean ?

It should be measured in centimeters, not inches. I'm also measuring 2 centimeters smaller so doc ordered an ultrasound. She said she really isn't concerned because it could be that the baby is moving down which wouldn't expand the belly. She said she ordered for me to have an ultrasound as a way for me to see the baby and for them to measure the fluid. She also said that 2 centimeters still falls in the margin for error (like the other post said) and that she would be concerned if it was 3 centimeters or more off.

I posted something similar yesterday! I'm 35+5 & had an appointment on Tuesday & my doctor said I was 34cm she didn't seem concerned at all but I wondered was my baby ok & growing fine. I think everything is ok as though if it wasn't I'm sure she would've said something or ordered me an ultrasound!

Say you're 30 weeks pregnant - your bump should measure at 30 inches (in a perfect world). However, you will still be within normal size range if you are + or - 2inches from that (so 28 - 32 inches is still considered healthy growth). If your doctor has said that everything with baby's growth is fine, then it more than likely is.
