Sex after C-Section?

Question

For all you mommas that had a c-section, how long after did you wait to have sex? I'm 4 weeks post partum and had sex today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I've been told you should wait 6 weeks, but if I feel fine I should be okay, right??

I had sex 4weeks after my c-section and was all good. It just really depends on how ur body heals after ur c-section ☺

I did at 3 weeks but we haven't had sex since because I'm waiting for my birth control we did use protection but I'm allergic to latex

My doctor would freak if he knew!
