Daith piercing for migraine?

Does anyone have it and did it lessen migraine attacks?

I am a piercer, and I have to say most piercers will agree, it all has to do with your mindset. I have people come and get the piercing because they heard it would work and for them it does work, however we think it is because they are expecting it to work, kinda like a placebo pill. There is nothing specific about this piercing placement that has been proven to help/prevent migraines. Most of my clients are 50/50. Half say it helps and half say it did nothing.

My niece had one about a year ago. She had some relief, but I think she still has headaches (not sure if they are full blown migraines anymore or not). She also has had acupuncture and could tell a difference but the effect wore off after a while. Best wishes!

I haven't personally, but a few friends have said it's given them relief.  Is it placebo like the piercer mentioned?  No idea, but that's an interesting thing to look into.
