What would you do? My dog is 7 he gets fed, fresh water plenty of walks and attention. When we leave him to roam the house he shits and pees so he sleeps in our room and he doesnt. So I have come home on a numner of occasions and he has chewed up my slippers, work shoes my socks from the washing basket and underwear from the washing basket. Today I come home after being out for an hour and he has chewed up my fucking retainer. I have only had it just over a month and it was in its case on my bedside table and he has knocked off all my things but saw my retainer unwearable and chewed up on the floor. He is really getying on my nerves I am at a loss. I have told my husband that said i should have put it away so now i am going to have to go out and replace a new retainer because of his dog! sorry if wrong group. Update after questions. He is a small dog and used to be fine when we were gone, He used to have a crate just thought would be a bit nicer hor him to be with us but i cant keep spending money on stuff because he decides to chew it.we are saving for a house and i cant afford him destroying my stuff all the time. what annoys me is i am at home more than my husband, i take him out infeed him and i generally look after him and he chews my stuff! Update again just bought a new crate and he will be downstairs from now on. he does have toys a whole assortment but not interested in them sadly.
