Citalopram?

I'm starting citalopram 20 mg today and was wondering if anyone else on here is on it, if you had any side effects and if it's helped you??

I've been on it for seven years and do find it makes me sleepy so I take the 40mg at night instead of it the morning which was prescribed

Personally I didn't like it.

My dh has been on it for a long time.  Makes him yawn for a little while after he takes it and it will make him a little goofy sometimes.  No adverse effects, really.  It does make a big difference in how long he lasts during bd time.  In a good way.  Lol

I've been taking it for a little over a year.   It's great.   However, I'm on 40mg. I haven't had any side effects.

I was on it for a very short time before I could develop any symptoms. All the info is in the leaflet though.
