Father’s Day?

Anyone here not really celebrating Father’s Day? I mean I will for my husband he’s an awesome father to our kids but I didn’t have my dad at all my whole life and it’s kinda depressing(for me) 😞

i completely understand i just posted on facebook that this is the hardest day of my life. i have a sperm donor father that never wanted me and a step father that hates me to the core of my sole. im not even welcome in my parents house. my step father alienated me from my family. no one ever calls me not even on  special days. no one checks on me and i live with epilepsy and chronic lyme disease. my son also had a very bad episode with seizures and almost died and no one was by my side, i did it all alone, no shoulder to cry on, no one to talk to. or no one to say it will be alright but most of all no one to help me thru with my son. that was the hardest thing ever knowing that no one cares if your child lives or dies

I haven’t had my father in my life in 18 years it’s been my grandfather mainly since I was little. My grandfather passed away from lung cancer in 2011 my ex husband hung up on my grandmother and mother when they told me he was in hospital I wanted to hear his voice at least hear his last words of wisdom or tell him I am sorry I was unable to make it I feel horrible for not saying see you until we meet again or goodbyes or I love you something.. I am divorced for 2 years I am a single mother I would of called my my daughter today but I am sure her father (jerk) will make her cut me off short again on phone so I’ll call her later this week, my son’s father well he doesn’t believe my son is his long story on that end so that jobless jerk didn’t sign birth certificate I am going to leave it at that hint as ( I don’t want this kid in my life) I hope you understand I still say Happy Father’s Day to my grandfather’s ashes even though he cannot answer but I already remember the things he would say or do like his tight hugs or calls me chicken legs and smiles about it positive things that you can remember with your father is the greatest memory ever the fun times, the great times when you all did together.
