We took our three week old everywhere we go. Our lives don’t come to a screeching halt because we’re parents. I have weekly transfusions, so he comes with to those at the hospital. We even took him to the zoo because we had a couple hours to kill between dr appts. Yesterday we attended a wedding and reception (my husband was the best man) and today we have a father’s day picnic with my in-laws (about 20 people). He’s been held by a fair number of people (all of whom we trust) but I’ve found that most just want to look at him and don’t try to touch him or anything.

I wouldn't unless you know for sure 100% everybody is fully vaccinated , have had the Dtap vaccine within last 7 years and nobody is sick.

I take my three week old all over. We have gone out to eat, to the store, and we are having a pool party today for Father’s Day. They’re a probably 15 people here. I think it’s fine. Just have everyone be cautious and wash their hands.
