sick child... any tips?

so my son had a cold for about 2 days now, he's in bed sleeping, but keeps waking up every 10 minutes because he has sore throat I have him some medicine to relieve the pain, but doesn't really look like helping... looks like gonna be another sleepless night, is there any other way to relieve the pain? he wouldn't take anything to drink, spits everything out, he's 1 year and 8 months

Try giving him warm lemon water with honey in it or warm tea with honey

My daughter just got over a cold, but I’m not sure she had a sore throat. She still ate, just not as much. I have her a teaspoon of raw honey every few hours and it really helped her cough. I also kept her as hydrated as possible and kept a humidifier on at all times.

Sore throats suck so bad and sadly there isn’t much you can do! Especially for a baby. I’m so sorry, maybe someone will have some suggestions I’m not aware of.
