When to tell employer

Hello, 
When did you all (who have children) tell your employer you were pregnant? 
I’m not very good at keeping secrets!!

The day I found out. I do a lot of heavy lifting and climbing so I needed to give a heads up that eventually it wouldn’t be safe lol

I had to tell when I was 5wks because I work in the hospital, and I couldn’t go into a certain patients room that a sign was posted outside saying “no pregnant caregiver” so I had to give reason why I couldn’t care for that patient on the floor, so I really didn’t have a choice

At 16 weeks but I told her not to tell anyone. I’m 19 and waiting for scan to tell colleagues but I have a bump so unsure if they guessed. My job involves heavy lifting and I’ve just got on with it, taking is steady and slowly and asking for help where it was too much on pretext of a bad back.

I’ve told around 14 weeks with both babies, at two different jobs. My schedule is flexible enough that dr appointments can be worked in easily, and I don’t like making an early announcement.

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and I have to do heavy lifting and use the ladder! So my boss had done me a risk assessment form. Now I can’t use the ladder, cant lift the boxes so it’s best you tell them soon as possible x
