Girls night turned into one night stand

So I went out with some girlfriends on Friday for a girls night and ended up going home with this guy. We had sex, it was unprotected. I was on my period (or towards the end of it) and I’m on BC but I’m still a little scared. The only person I had unprotected sex with was my ex a year ago. Sooo i don’t know if i should be worried or not. My friend told me I’m okay but i still worry.
