Birth control and side effects💊🙃

Has anyone else taken tri sprintec? If you have or even if you take a different birth control, what kind of side effects have you experienced?

I started taking this BC in March and it was great until about half way through the second month. I started getting really thick white discharge and my vagina was itchy and burning. So I thought great a yeast infection

I don’t even remember how many times I went to the doctors for medicine to get rid of the yeast infection. All I know is it took about a month for it to go away and it was hell. I tried everything and did everything I was told. I wasn’t sure what caused the yeast infection because I had just started my BC and March was also the first month I had sex. So I specifically asked my doctor if my BC could be causing the yeast infection and he assured me that it would NOT have been linked to my yeast infection.

However, about 2 weeks after I stopped taking my BC my yeast infection went away and I’ve been fine since then.

Well 3 weeks ago I started taking it again and guess fucking what......🙃 the painful itchy white discharge is back in full swing😭

So I guess my question here is, has anyone else had problems with BC and yeast infections? Is my BC causing my yeast infection? Is it even a yeast infection, or just like an allergic reaction or something? Help is appreciated😅
