my SO hasnt said "I love you" is it bad?

we been together for awhile and I slipped up 2 times saying I love you and he never said it back. Now that am pregnant he never said it once he only says I really like you and not use the word love. I am confused and just realized this has been going on.. advice?
update: yes he showers me with love we hangout together alot. We are passionate towards one another he just hasn't said it yet.

communication between you both. ask him why he has not said it yet. He may not be use to saying I love you. if he says so, teach him. when I was dating my husband he never use those words even when I said I love u, he replied same to you. I was like really! I found out he wasn't use to. I helped him over that and now he will tell me every day I love you boo. but I had to find out if he was saying it to please me or if he meant it. so when he says I love you I will reply same to you. but he felt so bad each time I gave him that respond. so I told him that's how I feel too. it may not be the same case like mine, but find out why he doesn't say and see if he really loves. not everyone says I love u and mean it.Does he show you love in anyway at all?
