WHAT ARE THESE MARKS AFTER INJECTION

so i got the nexplanon on wednesday (13/6) and i took off the bandage strip things but these two red marks were there under the injection spot. i know bruising is normal, but ehat the heck are these and why havent they started to go away like the bruise? any ideas?

Answer

It may just be internal bleeding, which is what a bruise essentially is. I wouldn't worry about it but keep an eye on it. If it doesn't go away or starts to cause pain/discomfort I'd call your doctor.
