Almost 39 weeks pregnant and husband might miss the birth

So my husband has airborne training and I’m almost about to give birth. Is very probable that he will miss the birth which has me all bummed. Is my first baby and his first baby and we are very excited about. But our hearts are breaking.

I know how the army is so I really don’t want to hear ppl telling to just accept it and deal with because I understand. We still have feelings.

Have you guys been through labor and delivery all alone?

I have my parents here luckily but the entire journey has been my husband and I alone. Feels like not having part of me there.
