Tummy time help?

Question

All my 7 week old wants to do during tummy time is chew on her right hand and move her legs around. Doesn’t seem to have interest in lifting her head. I’ve already tried getting down and talking to her and noisy toys but she doesn’t seem to care. Tips for successful tummy time?

totally fine. keep going, she'll get there. lots of muscles to develop and coordinate. the leg kicking and hand sucking is helping. you're doing awesome 😍

she will do it in her own time :) right now it is amoprtant that you keep getting her on her tummy a couple times a day.

That’s okay. Just keep going tummy time. Eventually she will start. They can only so it so long at first so she won’t just hold her head up the whole time. She’ll slowly work on the neck muscles and eventually she’ll start lifting her head more and longer. At least she tolerates tummy time haha.
