Advice please

My 4 week old was sleeping really good at night and now its like he wakes up every 2 hours. He is also wanting to eat almost every hour it seems. He is bottle fed. The doctor said to do 3 ounces. We tried 4 but his stomach can't take it , he spits up everywhere. He just started doing this about 2 days ago. I've read that it could be his growth spurt. We go to the dr on Thursday so I'm gonna ask her but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.
