Dedicating my baby to the Lord.

We had a baby dedication at our church yesterday. Just something special our church does sometimes.

I pray my husband and I can raise a godly, loving, kind young lady, who loves the Lord, and comes to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age. We want to be a good example, but also we hope she can love, care, pray, grow spiritually, and be better than us. Learn from her mistakes, repent from her sins, create good habits, show love, spread truth, stand up for Jesus, openly worship God with no shame, spread the gospel, (go ye, therefore, and preach the gospel unto every creature.) read Gods holy word, be a good decision maker, be humble, and not self loving... we are not perfect, therefore we cannot raise a perfect person, but with Gods help, we can train her to be all those things, doesn't mean she won't struggle, fail, fall, turn, resist for a time, but if we do things Gods way, and with prayer, we will do our job right.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
