Tampon help!!

Hey ladies so I’m new to tampons, anyway.. I’m going swimming in a few with my daughter, I have the regular size and have been wearing them, well of course today my bleeding slows. I only have light pink when I wipe after peeing and a tinyyyyy bit of pink/mixed with discharge on my pad.. idk if I should put a tampon in since it’s so so little and only pink when I wipe occasionally. But the thing is I’m on depo and my period comes and goes as it please so I’m scared illget it in the pool 😩😩😩 idk I need help

Update: I wore one and it worked fine, I was able to take it out with absolutely no issue just a little over an hour later. Thank you guys 💙💙
