First postpartum period??

What was your first period like after pregnancy? I’m 6 weeks pp and I’ve been bleeding for almost a week! Soaking through pads and passing clots all day and all night and showing no sighs of lighting up. Was your first period like this or should i see a doctor? TIA ☺️

Mine was the same at 6 weeks but without clots. Definitely came back with a vengeance! I actually just got another period at 8 weeks even though I am taking the pill, but it’s not as heavy. I’ve heard postpartum periods can be a little wacky so it may be normal.

I was expecting it to be heavy and painful and ended up with a regular to light flow with minimal cramping. If you’re concerned, talk to a doctor!

Mine came back 5 Weeks pp. No clots, but a lot of blood

I would call your doctor and speak to the nurse if you are concerned. They can talk to you and ask questioned. And then determine if you need to go in
