Polyhydramnios

Shelly

Hey ladies,

So I am 35 weeks and 3 days. I’ve been having NST and Amniotic Fluids checks weekly since 32 weeks because I have chronic high blood pressure, anemia, and a bleeding/clotting disorder. Today I had a growth ultrasound where my little girl is measuring 7lbs and 11 oz (in the 97th percentile) and I have high amniotic fluid (27). When I talked to the doctor after whom was just a resident, not my regular fetal doctor, he talked about all the risks (numerous) and said that if my water breaks, I just need to go to the nearest hospital (which is not the high risk one I’ve been going to). I didn’t ask much more than that, but I am super scared now that I or the baby won’t survive if my water breaks early. Does anyone have any experience with this? Positive or negative?
