So my boyfriend and I had sex after not seeing each other for a few weeks, I just had my period a few weeks ago and I’m on birth control, but while we were changing positions we noticed one of us was bleeding and it turned out to be me, lol. The blood itself was a bit brownish and my vagina is a little sore. Could it just be a tear in my vaginal lining or should I be concerned?

EDIT: The sex itself was particularly rough and in deep penetrating positions. I’m sure that could make a difference somehow 🤷🏼‍♀️
