Ok guys so me and my husband have been together since I was 17 dating for 4 years and married for 8 months now. So I have tried with my husbands mother. I have tried to get along with her but she’s just plain awful she has 5 kids and only my husband and one of his older brothers are the only one who chose to have a relationship with her. So my husbands mom hates my husbands father. she was a young mom and my husbands parents were toxic for each other. My husbands dad is not the same man he was when he was 17 and becoming a Father. He admitted to not being a great husband or father at 17. And he owned up to it all but my husbands mom has made up lots of lies and you can tell that my husbands father is an amazing and kind man and no where near the man she claims him to be and there are a lot of people even some of her own sibilings to back this up. Her own family has said she venomous and awful. Well it was Father’s Day and I made a Father’s Day post about my father in law and posted a group picture with him and his family because he has grown to be a big part of my life and I love him and he has treated me like his own. Well she got pissed and called my husband and said some things about me and basically said I and my husbands dad and family look inbred. And that my husband has low self esteem and settled for me because he didn’t think he could get any better and that I or my family don’t deserve him. Now my husband stood up for me because he knows who I am and he knows I’m not a horrible person and I’m shy and quiet and never defend myself but I honestly want to message his mother and not be immature or name calling but tell her I’m done with her crap because I have been nothing but kind and have tried so hard to build a relationship with her and I get no where. What do you guys think?
