HELP, with provera

hey ladies! so I am on CD40, I am waiting for my period to start.. but here's the thing.. I have been getting positive ovulation tests since ovulation! I was wondering if I can start provera in case I am not pregnant, would it be okay if i was tho? i have been getting BFN'S
