Idk if I can do it, breastfeeding really hurts, and even though she's not even 24 hrs old idk what to do. How long till it stops hurting !? 😩💔👶🏻🎀

Nipple shield! I would have stopped on day three if it wasn't for it! Let your nipples heal them try again without it! Your nipples will toughen up! Within a couple of days they weren't sore at all!

It takes a couple of weeks for your nipples to settle down...but believe me it's not easy. Maybe try nipple shield and nipple cream. But don't beat yourself up about it if you don't think you want to carry on.

I'm 4 weeks in and it's just almost to the point if no pain. It hurts but you can do it! Get some nipple cream and see a lactation consultant to make sure your baby has the right latch.

Two weeks! It gets better (as long as your LO continues to latch properly)!!!

I'm at 6 weeks and it's still painful but I refuse to give up. It gets better. Then worse. Then better. I've cried. I've wanted to give up. I've bled. I won't give up.

The problem I have is getting her to latch correctly on my right boob. My left isn't bad, I can get her to latch and nurse but find I had to pump after she ate today because my boob was still full and hard and I couldn't get relief but once I pumped for about 5 minutes it was enough to just take the pain away. I'm thinking I'm going to pump and nurse. I know they say not to do that until atleast two weeks but I just can't help it.

This might just cause your body to make more milk. Your supply will even out after a few days.

I've been breastfeeding a week and it still hurts a little not going to lie but it does keep getting better. When you're done feeding her put a little of your breast milk on your nipple and let them air dry. That's really helped me a lot!
