More waiting 😣

Went in for my 1 week follow up post surgery and all is healing well, but two other updates took me off guard. 1) I have to wait until I've had two periods to start trying again. He wants to do a water test (HSN) after two cycles to make sure any remaining tissue is cleared out. I'm due for AF next week and then likely again end of July and then he'd do it mid August. And then 2) he said I can't go in the hot springs in Iceland next week. This is obviously less significant in the long run but I almost started to cry. I wanted this trip to be my restart and enjoy it to the fullest. He said he'd wait 2.5 weeks (which technically I'll surpass while on the trip) but then also said if I'm still clearing tissue my cervix might be open and I could risk infection. I'm kind of dubious on this beacuse if I'm having AF isn't my cervix already open and then wouldn't any woman on her period be at risk? But not sure what to do. I go back for my consultation to review the results on Monday.
