Normal ultrasound schedule?

I went to set up my first doctor  appointment and I was told than I wouldn’t be getting a ultrasound until 12 weeks. I have never seen this happen. Has anyone else experienced this?

That’s relatively common in Canada and I think the UK. Not sure where you’re from?
Especially if you have regular cycles and know when your LMP is then they don’t do a “dating scan but just skip to the 12w NT scan.

Mine was 8 with my first and I'm assuming the same this time since I'm seeing the same midwife.

My dr doesnt give ultrasounds until week 20, & you only get 1!! Unless medically needed
