Septum piercing age

My sister has ALLOWED HER 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO GET A SEPTUM PIERCING (the fact I don't approve is obvious granted its not my life and that's not my kid) I have repeatedly told her the age limit is 16 WITH PARENTAL CONSENT she continues to disagree so will you lovely ladies please tell me the age limit for septum
