I’m kinda on the fence about things like that. I like how my friend does it, her and her child’s father aren’t allowed to bring any relationship partner to meet the child until 6 months into the relationship, they all have to meet at least once and if the other parent has a true concern about the relationship partner it’s to be discussed, there’s no pictures of the child posted to the relationship partners social media pages, the child is to not be left alone with the relationship partner unless approved by both parents, and all people have to be open and honest.

We can discuss why we may feel uncomfortable with it, but I feel in the end it's the baby daddy's decision on who he introduces to the child. It's not like we can withhold the child from him or anything if there's a parenting plan in place

i feel as though if yall been together for awhile and its getting serious then eventually that time is to come. but as a mom myself when i date or even old classmates from high school im skeptical to bring my baby around u never know some ones intentions. laat year a video went around of this girl spitting in her boyfriends kids.. better safe then sorry

it's up to the father, when it comes down to it you've been around a good amount of time, are trusted by the family, a good person ECT.. but just saying no bc she just has some grudge against you bc you're the girlfriend is a no.

This is very circumstantial....... 
For me my ex’s girlfriend liked to pretend to be mommy and take photos that looked like they were there for my daughter when they weren’t..... for example I would plan a whole birthday party and they would show up for 20 mins snap a bunch of pics that made them look good on social media and dip. Without helping set up clean up or pay the pill. My ex handed me sole custody without complaint. My daughter would come home crying about how she hated going to daddy’s every other weekend because they ignored her while she was there. 
She towed the line with me when she used my daugher as part of her resume on a nanny website. I was FURIOUS! I told her to remove any mention of MY daugher on the public website and all of the pictures of my daughter! I told her that she was not to use my daughter as part of her resume because I as her parent would never recommend her to anyone else. My daughter hates being around you AND you wrecked our home by sleeping with him when we were planning our wedding. I wouldn’t rec her to another family in case she decided to steal that ladies husband. 
In my situation VERY much MY KID! This bitch could gtfo!!! 
That being said if it’s joint custody and he has been there all along and is a good parent it should be his choice. I do agree with not introducing partners right away.

this is a delicate balance...my ex husband is currently engaged and refuses to even let me meet her. our 3 kids have been spending the night at her house already (they have only been together for 2-3 months), but I asked my kids if they like her, they all say yes. So as a mom, if my kids don't seem to be in harm's way or unhappy, There's no reason to resent this woman.
