Fertility treatments?

Me and my husband have been ttc for 8 months. We have a two year old daughter but it took us four years to concieve her. My question is why is it acceptable to ask my OBGYN for fertility help? What are the steps I need to go through before? Any words of wisdom would be helpful. Or other remedy anyone knows about!

Depending on ur age most specialist won't see u unless you have been trying for 6 month (if you are older) to a year (if you are younger) but since u had a had time w. Ur daughter and have tried for a few months already w. No results a specialist will probably see you no problem. Just go to ur regular gyno first.

I have a 4 year old and I have an appointment today to talk to the doctor after 9 months of ttc. He told me to call him after 6 months .. Give your doctor a call and good luck on #2 😀

I switched obs bc after my miscarriage mine didnt do any follow-up. I literally went in and asked for it! Explained my history and he ordered everything.  Turns out everything is normal.

Did you have sperm tested or an hsg test at all?
