Food aversions?

Hey ladies. So I’m 5 weeks. Tried to eat some delicious Greek yogurt this morning and about threw up mid bite.  All of a sudden it smelled and tasted rotten (we bought it yesterday).  Husband sweared it smelled fine, then he asked “is this supposed to happen already?”.  So anyone due in February already have food aversions or strong smell aversions?

Cheese! I have an aversion to cheese, especially mozzarella. Last time I had pizza, I had to take the cheese off.

Yes! We live on a farm and I never have had any problem with te smell of the cow dung. But yesterday I almost puked when I had to take care of our calves 😅
And mayonnaise tastes different to me since I’m pregnant. I don’t have an aversion to it, but it definitely tastes different!

So many things taste “off”. I can’t eat scrambled eggs right now, tried twice & I gagged. With my first pregnancy, I couldn’t eat chicken or shrimp. Why can’t I have an aversion to the fatty stuff like pizza, pasta or ice cream?

Meat is my worst enemy right now! I haven’t experienced much nausea yet but the mere thought of taking a bite of chicken or beef makes my stomach turn 🤢

I can't stand the smell in the butchers, we had vegetable burgers for dinner last night as I had to run out the butchers, couldn't buy meat, or cook it now! Oh well looks like it's my other half job now for the next 8 months 🤣

Totally normal. For me it’s chicken, coffee, and other heavy foods! Trying to get my protein in quinoa and eggs. Congrats!

My husband was eating Greek yogurt a few nights ago and it made me gag. I usually love Greek yogurt. :(

Yes definitely - I haven’t enjoyed a coffee since before I was pregnant. The thought of most of my normal yummy meals is grossing me out. Just gotta go with it I guess 😬

Yep. Happened to me the other day. 
Went to my mums to sit and have a take away with her and my brother and I ordered my usual and heaved at the smell as soon as it came through the door. Chicken suddenly tasted like FISH?! 
That was last week so I was about 6+3/4
