Betta choking?

I have my betta a little piece of cucumber to eat and I made sure it was really small but when he tried to eat it he struggled but I couldn’t get it away from him so he swallowed it and now he’s just staying at the top of the tank taking air in and he makes a chewing motion with his mouth every so often.. what do I do??

It was a lot to eat I’m sure he’s jus trying digest it .

he will be fine. hes working on it himself. bettas tend to stay at tops of tanks and take in air sometimes. i wouldnt be concerned. and even if hes having a hard time i dont think there is anything you can do
