Post Hysterectomy

allison

Hey y’all. I’m back... and I’m miserable!

As some of you know already I’ve been fighting for a long time to get a hysterectomy, due to my severe endometriosis, pcos, and other problems with my baby factory.

Well we finally got it scheduled and I just had the procedure 6-12-18.

I spent 2 nights in the hospital. I wasn’t allowed to be released till I pooped. Which only happened because they made me drink that nasty magnesium drink that basically tastes like salty sprite...

anyway after I had a movement they released me the next day.

Thank god! I can finally go home!!!

Well joke is on me. I’ve been home since the night of 6-14-18 and I have not been able to poop at all. I’ve take. Both dulcolax and miralax with NO results. I’m so backed up I can’t move without pain shooting through me. It hurts to pee too because the pressure my bladder puts on my intestines. To add to it I’ve had a fever for 3 days. Not a high fever, but enough to have me concerned about it. Im hoping that I don’t have an infection somewhere. Sooo me and my feller had decided that I’d try a new laxative yesterday and if I’m still running a fever and can’t poop today I’m going back to the hospital.

Well the new laxatives haven’t helped yet, but my fever did break!

Idk how it broke, or what finally broke it. But I woke up soaked in sweat and no fever.

Now my goal is to figure out what will work to make me poop.

I’m quite literally full of shit.

It’s so uncomfortable and painful I can’t eat anything. If I do eat, I literally feel it just land in my gut and sit there. Adding pressure where there’s already been pressure.

I know this was what I wanted and that the healing process would be a pain, but I didn’t realize it would be this bad.

Any ideas for how to shit???
