Monday I ended up with stomach bug. Got dehydrated even though I tried to drink lots of water. Ended up with a lot of contractions and bleeding bright red blood. 29 weeks pregnant. It was nighttime when blood started. Went to emergency room. They sent me up to labor and delivery. Got iv with something to help contractions. Thankfully those have gone way down. Cervix is closed. Ended up with two shots of steroids 24 hours apart to help baby girl develop her lungs if she ends up coming early. Bleeding stopped. Feel horrible. Achy all over and swollen all over. Haven’t been up to this point. Can that be the steroids? Home from hospital now. Follow up tomorrow with my Ob.
