mucus plug?

I'm 35 weeks and last week I had some funny looking discharge and thought it may have been me losing some of my mucus plug. I took a picture and showed it to my midwife the next day. she dismissed it as more of discharge than my mucus plug. however I have had more today (9 days later). there isn't any blood in it but I'm sure it's not just discharge. Does anyone think this looks like I am loosing my plug and if so what would that mean?
