Can you get pregnant while Breastfeeding ???

My LO is approaching 6 months next Friday ... My husband and I are currently not using and bc but heard that its a 98% chance of not being able to get pregnant while breastfeeding due to the hormones your body produces while breastfeeding .... Has anyone gotten pregnant while breastfeeding ???

You are super fertile after having a baby. Breastfeeding doesn't stop it.

Yes you can breastfeeding is not a form of birth control I have a friend who has a 6 month old and is currently 8 weeks pregnant now she was breastfeeding at the time sht got pregnant..my husband and I have slipped up twice since I've been breastfeeding but I haven't gotten pregnant thank god breastfeeding also suppresses ovulation sometimes.

You can definitely get pregnant while breastfeeding, it's less likely if your periods have not returned by some women ovulate before there first postnatal period and so could conceive without realising they've missed a period. If your not sure take a test it's the only way to be sure
