Baby Max finally made his appearance! He was 5 days late, born 7/6/15, 8 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long, born with a full head of hair like his mommy and daddy were! My original birth plan had been to have a natural, drug-free delivery. Because he was in the wrong position for birth (occipit posterior instead of anterior), I had a ton of back labor that made me almost pass out with each contraction. I knew I couldn't actively participate in my labor the way I wanted if I continued that way, so I opted for an epidural. My labor had started at home late at night on 4th of July and after about 38 hours total labor and 4 hours of pushing, Maxwell made his official debut at 4:32 pm on 7/6/15, which is also my dad's birthday. We are so in love and I wouldn't change anything 💗💗
