Bleeding normal or not?

I’m exactly 5 weeks today, but a couple of days ago I had an unexpected gush of red blood in the evening that soaked through my undies. But then in stopped and I haven’t had anything since except for some cramps yesterday. Is this normal or could I be miscarrying?

I had a similar thing happen to me as well. Turns out I have a small subchorionic hemorrhage (very common) that leaked that they found on my follow up ultrasound! Call your clinic and let them know and they’ll probably have you come in for an ultrasound! 
Stay positive mama! And probably avoid anything vaginal (sex, douching, etc) until you talk to your OB! Good luck! ❤️

The only way to know is to go to the doctor for a daily hcg level confirmation and ultrasound. You may not specifically see anything yet, but they might get a fetal pole if baby is fine. You might already see levels decreasing on an hpt as well if you had the bleeding a few days ago. But you need to go to the doctor, definitely.
