Is it okay to type thank you cards?

We are thanking over 150 people from our wedding.

I am old fashioned and totally disagree. If people took time out to give you a meaningful gift (even if it’s cash), you should hand write the thank you and personalize it. Split it with your husband and over a few weekends. I’ve never received a typed thank you note.

I went to a wedding where they made postcards using a picture from their wedding day where they were holding a sign that said Thank You and just sent those out. I’ve had other friends who just sent a thank you with their picture on it and a fun thank you poem that was typed. Other weddings I haven’t even gotten a thank you. Do what works for you. I always just give a check that I know will cover at least our two meals and some extra...takes 30 seconds to pick a card and another 30 seconds to write out the check and put it in the card. I don’t expect a thank you. 🤷‍♀️ I gave them a present and they fed me and threw a big, expensive party that was free for me to attend. I say that’s even lol

After going to a close friends wedding we received a photo thank you card of them. I don’t think it matters. You do you and do what’s easiest for your life!
