Update: Help! My husband shouldn’t be allowed to pick baby names 😬

I’m currently 13 weeks with our first (and probably only) child together. I have 2 boys from a previous marriage; he has none. My sweet husband has come up with 2 names he absolutely loves, but I hate them both.

He keeps telling me it’ll grow on me, but honestly the thought of naming our child either of those names makes me want to cry.

I swear, it’s more like he’s trying to name a video game character than an actual human being!

He’s been so supportive and sweet that I really don’t want to hurt his feelings, but I just cannot name our kid something I really hate. Any suggestions on how to nicely but firmly say no???

Ok...the 2 names he likes for a boy are Havoc (think of the same expression “wreaking havoc”) and Fury

I told him I didn’t know how tsay how I felt nicely and that I didn’t want to be mean. His response was “just say it.” So I did...”they’re awful names. If you insist on either of them, I’ll end up crying. It sounds like you’re naming a video game character, not a human being who will one day grow up and have job interviews and have to fill out legal documents.” He still likes them (and I think he’s hoping they’ll grow on me) but he’s not pushing so hard for them. And in the mean time, I’m giving him lists of mommy approved names lol 😂
