so my boyfriend and I have been living together for almost a year now; he has been the sole provider for us because he insisted that I finish my accounting degree and stay home with my three kids (from my marriage of 10 years). He is the best bonus daddy to them and adores them as if they were his very own. We have been struggling financially because he travels two hours (one way) to work everyday. my concern is that there have been times when he can't make it home cuz he has run out of money. mind you, we are not married; what is my place in this? how can I encourage him to budget his money without sounding like I'm trying to control his spending?
