So I have two cats who’s names are Penny and Whiskers. Penny was outside for a couple of days and my daughter let her into the house a couple hours ago. My daughter told me that Penny was hissing at Whiskers (btw I’m in my room laying on my bed trying to sleep). I got up to use the bathroom and as soon as I opened the door both of the cats started fighting. They’ve never fought like this before and it was bad. I had to bring Whiskers into my room because of that. It’s 12:47 in the morning right now and I don’t know what to do. Whiskers was meowing cause she wanted to get out of my room but I’m afraid they will fight again. I opened the door and held Whiskers and when she saw Penny she started to hiss. I’m stuck because I don’t want to keep her in my room all day while I’m at work and no one is going to be home all day. What should I do? Both cats were fine afterwards. I don’t know why they got into a fight and I don’t know why Penny started hissing in the first place. My theory is that she got into a fight with another animal while outside and got scared or she’s just in a bad mood which she tends to be in at times. I need to know what to do now before I wake up at 6:50 AM. Comment please 😩

Update: so I carried Whiskers to Penny to see if they will continue fighting and now it’s just Whiskers hissing at Penny and Whiskers started going crazy so I dropped her and I started yelling at scared Penny off so now Penny is in my room while Whiskers is out in the living area. This is what happened during that time. It’s currently 1:44 in the morning. I’m going to be so tired
